Upgraded to a suite and it was absolutely perfect for my husband's Birthday surprise. Clean, spacious room, staff excellent especially Sam on reception she was so helpful and also the lovely girls on the Spa reception. Breakfast was brilliant with a great choice. Will definitely stay again.

Cleanliness was average.Staff were fine. Breakfast they claim would be £24 if room only: go B&B! -not worth £24 or £12. Breakfast organisation was not the best - no side plates,butter -so that needs looking at. The restaurant is pleasant but food very expensive for what you get - I advise going into Tarporley in the evening. Gold course looks first rate and you can walk round.Pool is big and spa treatment was recommended by my friend. Facilities 9/10 ; Room 6/10 ( good size) ; food was godd but sparse for price 6/10"
